W dniu 26 stycznia br. w Żytowiecku odbył się pierwszy Gminny Turniej Tenisa Stołowego zorganizowany przez Urząd Miejski w Poniecu, Zespół Szkół Szkoły Podstawowej i Gimnazjum w Żytowiecku oraz Gminne Centrum Kultury. Turniej został rozegrany w trzech kategoriach: szkoły podstawowej, gimnazjum oraz OPEN.
W poszczególnych kategoriach najlepsze wyniki uzyskali:

II miejsce - Machowski Paweł
III miejsce - Chudy Szymon
W kategorii gimnazjum:
I miejsce - Musialski Piotr
II miejsce - Perz Piotr
III miejsce - Nowak Artur
W kategorii OPEN
I miejsce - Ziemniewicz Arkadiusz
II miejsce - Ziemniewicz Sławomir
III miejsce - Ziemniewicz Grzegorz
Zwycięzcy otrzymali puchary i nagrody rzeczowe ufundowane przez Burmistrza Ponieca.
