W dniu 28 grudnia 2006 r. odbyły się gminne eliminacje do XI Festiwalu „Stajenka” w Pogorzeli, zorganizowane przez Gminne Centrum Kultury w Poniecu.

Dzieci oraz młodzież wystąpiły w trzech kategoriach wiekowych; w kategorii 5-9 lat pierwsze miejsce zajęły Joanna Biernaczyk oraz Zuzanna Wojciechowska, w kategorii 10-14 lat zwyciężyła Agnieszka Jernaś, natomiast w kategorii 15-18 lat Joanna Wojciechowska. Dla wszystkich uczestników przygotowane zostały nagrody rzeczowe oraz dyplomy.
