W dniu 14.12.2006 r. odbyły się spektakle teatralno - profilaktyczne, które zostały zorganizowane przez Pełnomocnika Burmistrza ds. Rozwiązania Problemów Alkoholowych w Poniecu. Spektakl pt.: „Z innej perspektywy”, był adresowany do uczniów szkół gimnazjalnych.

Spektakl ten mówił o konieczności dokonywania życiowych wyborów, a także o roli uniwersalnych wartości i ich miejscu w naszych realiach. Humorystyczne sceny wprowadzały odbiorców w pogodny nastrój, dzięki czemu treść zawarta w przekazie łatwiej docierała do młodych widzów. Spektakle były przedstawione przez grupę artystyczną Teatru „Odyseusz”.
