W okresie od 16 do 27 sierpnia organizowane były „Zielone Wakacje” dla dzieci z Rokosowa, Łęki Wielkiej i Żytowiecka. W czasie trwania półkolonii dzieci miały przyjemność obejrzeć spektakle profilaktyczne, filmy oraz bajki edukacyjne, organizowano dyskoteki, różne gry i zabawy.
 
27 lipca w Sowinach – „ZAGRODA U SZWAGRA” odbyło się uroczyste zakończenie I Turnusu „Zielonych Wakacji”.  W zakończeniu udział wzięło 70 dzieci i 6 opiekunów. W spotkaniu wzięli udział również; Kazimierz Dużałka - Burmistrz Ponieca, Jerzy Kusz – Przewodniczący Rady Miejskiej w Poniecu, Piotr Kaźmierczak – Pełnomocnik Burmistrza ds. Rozwiązywania Problemów Alkoholowych oraz Karina Mietlińska – Przewodnicząca Gminnej Komisji Rozwiązywania Problemów Alkoholowych. Dla dzieci przygotowane były różne atrakcje m.in.: jazda konno, jazda bryczką, łowienie ryb oraz wiele innych gier i zabaw. Każdy z uczestników otrzymał posiłek tj. kiełbasę z grila, zupkę oraz lody i chłodne napoje. Sotkanie trwało od godziny 9:00 do 12:30.
