Dnia  21 lipca 2007 r. Gminne Centrum Kultury w Poniecu zorganizowało wakacyjny rodzinny festyn w Parku Miejskim. Od godziny 16:00  dzieci brały czynny udział w grach i zabawach prowadzonych przez  zespół muzyczny „ Wehikuł ” . Każde dziecko zostało obdarowane drobnymi upominkami oraz słodyczami.

O godzinie 18:00 wystąpili klauni z teatru ” Na walizkach”, którzy zabawiali nie tylko dzieci, ale i dorosłych.
Po części artystycznej odbyła się zabawa taneczna, w czasie której przy taktach muzyki granej przez zespół „ Wehikuł” młodzież i dorośli bawili się do północy.
