W dniu 3 czerwca br. na boisku wiejskim w Miechcinie odbył się  festyn sportowo – rekreacyjny popularyzujący trzeźwy i zdrowy styl życia.

Festyn został zorganizowany z okazji „Dnia Dziecka”. W imprezie uczestniczyło 20 dzieci. Odbyło się wiele konkurencji rekreacyjno - sportowych , m.in.: 

  • Wyścig z jajkiem
  • Mecz piłki nożnej 
  • Przeciąganie liny
  • Bieg w workach
  • Rzut do kosza
  • Wyścigi rowerowe z przeszkodą

Każdy z uczestników otrzymał posiłek tj. kiełbasę z ogniska oraz zorganizowano przejażdżki skuterem. Wszyscy uczestnicy festynu otrzymali drobne upominki w formie słodyczy, a zwycięzcy nagrody.
Festyn został zorganizowany przez Gminę Poniec, reprezentowaną przez Pełnomocnika Burmistrza ds. Rozwiązywania Problemów Alkoholowych wraz z Radą Sołecką i Sołtysem wsi Miechcin.
