Noworocznym marszem swój sezon kijkowy 1 stycznia 2015r. rozpoczęli kijkarze ponieckiej i bojanowskiej sekcji. Trasa pierwszego, tegoroczny marszu wiodła z Gołaszyna przez wiadukt w kierunku junoszyńskiego lasu. „Pod daszkami” ugościła wędrowców nasza kol. Grażyna przygotowując ciepłą kawę i herbatkę .

Panie złożyły sobie życzenia świąteczne i noworoczne, podzieliły się opłatkiem, zaśpiewały kolędy. Czas upłynął w miłym i świątecznym nastroju.
Zmagania tenisistów stołowych
W sobotę 20 grudnia 2014 roku odbyły się coroczne Mistrzostwa Powiatu Gostyńskiego w tenisie stołowym. W turnieju, który rozegrano w Bodzewie wzięło udział około 60 zawodników, w tym reprezentanci ponieckiego „Piasta”. Rozgrywki przeprowadzono w dwóch kategoriach wiekowych - Open i do 20 roku życia.

W dniach 15-17 grudnia 2014 GCKSTiR w Poniecu, po raz kolejny zorganizowało Warsztaty Bożonarodzeniowe dla dzieci i dorosłych. W popołudniowych zajęciach wzięło udział ponad 20 osób. Uczestnikom zapewniono porady ze strony florystki – p. Adriany Perskiej, niezbędne materiały oraz słodki poczęstunek.
Spotkanie opłatkowe kijkarzy w Miechcinie
Na miejsce tegorocznego spotkania opłatkowego ponieccy i bojanowscy kijkarze wybrali Wiejskie Centrum Rekreacji w Miechcinie. Mimo niesprzyjającej pogody spotkała się 30.osobowa grupa sympatyków Nordic Walking.
Wizyta muzyków orkiestry GCKSTiR we Wrocławiu
Z okazji Mikołajek 47 osobowa grupa muzyków Dziecięco-Młodzieżowej Orkiestry Dętej GCKSTiR w Poniecu spędziła sobotę 13 grudnia w stolicy Dolnego Śląska. Celem wyjazdu było zwiedzenie kompleksu Afrykarium, które mieści się na terenie Ogrodu Zoologicznego we Wrocławiu.
Wygrana tenisistów Piasta Poniec
W niedzielę 14 grudnia 2014r. w Lginiu odbyło się spotkanie ligi tenisa stołowego pomiędzy miejscowym UKS Lgiń a Piastem Poniec. Mecz zapowiadał się ciekawie ponieważ przed spotkaniem obydwa zespoły miały tyle samo punktów w tabeli.
"Bajka o szczęściu"
We wtorek, 9 grudnia 2014 Gminne Centrum Kultury Sportu Turystyki i Rekreacji w Poniecu zorganizowało dla dzieci z Przedszkola Samorządowego w Poniecu oraz w Łęce Wielkiej występ teatrzyku kukiełkowego „Tomcio” z Nowego Sącza. Specjalnie przygotowany repertuar dla najmłodszych pt. „Bajka o szczęściu” cieszył się dużym zainteresowaniem.
